2021年春季学期加州大学伯克利分校在线项目报名通知

    为进一步提升我校学生的国际交流水平,培养具有国际视野和国际竞争力的高素质人才,我校2021年春季学期加州大学伯克利分校在线项目现开始接受报名。该项目由北京林业大学签约正规留学机构远学教育主办,请有意愿的学生积极申报。

一、项目报名流程

1、对此项目感兴趣学生向远学咨询教师进行前期咨询。

2、学生确定意愿项目后,于北京林业大学国际交流与合作处官网-赴外留学-学生赴外留学申请系统上进行申请(账号密码与数字北林相同,不需要上传附件),提交申请后打印申请表至学院签字盖章后,将申请表交至行政楼322詹老师处。

3、国际处审查合格后通知学生,学生可在远学正式报名并缴费。

 

二、项目内容

(一)加州大学伯克利分校全科方向项目

    1、项目时间

    2021年春学期:1中旬-5月中旬

    申请截止日期:202012月1日

    2、报名条件

    (1)在校全日制本科生、研究生;

    (2)GPA要求:3.0;

    (3)语言最低要求:托福(IBT)90或雅思7.0;四级550,六级520。未达到以上要求的申请者可咨询是否具备面试资格。

    3、课程介绍

    加州大学伯克利分校成立于1868年,是美国著名的公立研究型大学,也是世界级顶尖名校之一,该校与斯坦福、哈佛、麻省理工一起,被誉为“美国社会不朽的学术四脊梁”。同时,也是30多所“公立常春藤”院校中的旗舰大学。加州大学伯克利分校教学及科研实力雄厚,众多专业在世界少名列前茅。在2015年QS世界大学排名中,加州大学伯克利分校共有26个学科进入世界前十,仅次于斯坦福大学和哈佛大学。同时该校和斯坦福大学和哈佛大学一直屹立与世界学术研究前三的位置。

    计算机课程选课难度大,对选课需要有高度灵活性;

    选课注意事项:学生将根据自身安排选择1门以上课程。课程基于课程空位及满足课程先修要求。

    项目费预估:课程费:每学分预估750美金,根据选择的学分和课程不同,学费有所变动项目管理费500美金。

(二)加州大学伯克利分校哈斯商学院项目

    1、项目时间

    春季:1月中旬-5月中旬

    教学领域:BA课程

    教学方式:远程实时直播课程

    直播时间:星期六 9:00 AM(北京时间);星期五6:00 PM(美国西部时间)

    申请截止日期:2月1日

    2、报名条件

    (1)完成两年本科学业,官方成绩单(GPA 3.0 及以上)

    (2)语言需达到任意一项:托福90分;雅思7分;专四 70分;专八 70分(如果没有语言成绩,可以申请英语面试)

    *2020年秋季学期已被哈斯商学院面授项目录取但推迟至2021年春季学期入学的学生,不需二次申请。

    3、课程介绍

 2020年,伯克利哈斯商学院推出远程教学项目,该项目由伯克利哈斯商学院与伯克利全球教育部门共同管理。哈斯商学院地理位置优越,坐落于旧金山湾区,独享旧金山和硅谷得天独厚的资源。在这里,学生可以体验到原汁原味的MBA课程。学生在线上享受伯克利哈斯顶级的教学资源的同时可以修得学分,该学分可用于未来哈斯商学院面授项目证书认证,并可根据实际情况将所得学分转换到在读的本科或研究生学位。

 哈斯商学院在线项目不同于其它世界顶级大学商学院所提供的课程或项目:课程为MBA学位项目内原版课程,将由课程原授课教授伯克利哈斯商学院顶级教授任课。课程内容、教材和考核标准都与伯克利哈斯商学院目前MBA学位项?目相当?。学生通过哈斯商学院在线项目的学习,学术水平与商业能力及国际素养将得到显著提升,并可从中积累一定的硅谷人脉资源,为继续为世界顶级大学求学与日后工作做好充分准备。

    FINTECH MBA XB237 (3 units)

    Changes in technology—such as universal Internet access, dramatic advances in cryptography and a mobile phone in every pocket—have changed how the financial industry operates. Learn more about this changing industry, including the potential of cryptocurrencies and Blockchain.

    Faculty: Gregory La Blanc, J.D., LLM, received his J.D. from George Mason University and his LLM from UC Berkeley’s School of Law. He has been teaching at Haas School of Business since 2005, was awarded the UC Berkeley Presidential Teaching Fellow, was a Haas EWMBA Core Graduate Instructor of the Year and a John Olin Fellow from the School of Law.

    NEGOTIATION AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION UGBA XB152 (3 units)

    Learn theory and processes in order to solve various negotiation problems commonly faced by managers and professionals. Develop your negotiation skills through simulations, case studies and the like. Faculty: Holly Schroth, Ph.D., is a senior lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business Management of Organizations Program, where she specializes in the areas of negotiation and organizational behavior. She has been a senior lecturer at Haas since 1992, and has also won several awards, including a Distinguished Teaching Fellow.

    INTERNATIONAL MARKETING UGBA XB168B (3 units)

    Understand the frameworks and sensitivities to formulate and implement marketing strategies in order to compete worldwide. Study issues such as global versus local advertising, pricing strategies, strategic international alliances and distribution channels, managing international brands and product lines, retailing, and marketing organization and control.

    Faculty: Professor Wasim Azhar has been with UC Berkeley Haas School of Business since 2005. He is currently the Director at the Center for Teaching Excellence at Haas and a lecturer. Wasim is also a partner, Director and CMO at Amzone LLC and a member of the Board of Directors at Global Equity Partners.

(三)加州大学伯克利分校法学院项目

    1、项目时间

    课程:录播+直播讨论(每周六早上)

    申请截止日期:2020年12月1日

    2、报名条件

    (1)大二及以上本科生、研究生(海外学习时三、四年级本科生、研究生)

    (2)GPA最低要求:3.0;

    (3)语言最低要求:托福(IBT)90或雅思7.0;

    *注:未达到以上语言要求的同学可咨询是否具备面试资格。

    3、课程介绍

    课程设置和内容: 加州大学伯克利分校法学院课程二选一;研究生申请研讨会;职业规划研讨会;法律专家,司法领域客座教授讲座;法学学术指导。

    以下两门课程二选一

    (1)FOUNDATIONS OF LEGAL STUDIES LS 100 (4 units)

    This liberal arts course will give you an introduction to the foundational frameworks and crossdisciplinary perspectives from humanities and social sciences that distinguish legal studies as a scholarly field. Gain a comparative and historical introduction to forms, ideas, institutions, and systems of law and sociological ordering. Study basic theoretical problems and scholarly methods in order to understand questions of law and justice.

    Faculty: Richard Perry is lecturer-in-residence and senior fellow at UC Berkeley’s Legal Studies Program. He has also served as professor  of Justice Studies at San Jose’ State University. Previous appointments include assistant professor in Criminology, Law and Society at UC Irvine (with secondary appointments in Native American Studies, Environmental and Global Peace and Conflict Studies) and research fellow at the Centre de Philosophie du Droit, Louvain, Belgium. He has been a visiting scholar at the UC Berkeley Center for the Study of Law & Society.

    (2)U.S. SUPREME COURT AND PUBLIC POLICY LS 138 (4 units)

    Discuss major Supreme Court decisions in relation to constitutional doctrine and public policy controversies at the time they were handed down, then place those decisions in a broader historical context. Consider the importance of the Court and the impact of its decisions.

    Faculty: R. Ben Brown is a lecturer with a continuing appointment in the Legal Studies Program at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is also an affiliated scholar with the Center for the Study of Law and Society. His research and teaching interests are United States legal and constitutional history and the intersection of property rights and liberty rights. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. His dissertation examined the ending of the common property regime of open-range grazing in the Southern United States in the 19th century. His latest article, published in Radical History Review, was “Free Pigs and Free Men: Closing the Southern Range and the American Property Tradition.”
